In 2014, a Pine Island clam farmer and an organic gardening and sustainable living gardener had an idea.

Tickets for the upcoming Best South Cape Martini Competition & Trolley Event hosted by the South Cape Hospitality & Entertainment Association are a hot item.
Organizers say ticket sales are soaring and well on their way to selling out for the January 28 event.
In its eleventh year, the event determines which South Cape bar or restaurant will hold the title of the Best South Cape Martini for the next 365 days, and it is up to the public to decide who carries that honor.
