Cape Coral Police announce November 2016 Do The Right Thing winners

On Wednesday, November 16, the Cape Coral Police Department held their monthly 2016-2017 Do The Right Thing Awards ceremony at City Hall.

The department recognized twelve Cape Coral students who were nominated for their recent actions that had a positive impact on the community.

The department hosts the ceremony each month during the school year to honor local students for going above and beyond in their everyday life to "do the right thing."

Cape Coral's U10 USA Girls capture 3v3 Soccer National Championship

As kids from around Cape Coral return to school this year, a major topic of conversation among the students is, as always, sharing what they did during the summer break.

For a group of students, the conversation will certainly contain a little bragging, and rightfully so.

It was a summer to remember for elementary school students, Ryleigh Acosta, Mikala Allen, Samantha Connar, Cameron Fallacara, Gigi Gerke-Ramirez, and Stephanie Saracione.

Their summer was spent as members of Cape Coral's USA Girls U10 Soccer team.
