Taste of the Cape/ Symphony at Sunset 2017
Over the weekend the Chamber of Commerce of Cape Coral and the Gulf Coast Symphony partnered to bring the fourth annual Taste of the Cape/Symphony at Sunset to Cape Coral.
The event filled Four Freedoms Park to near capacity, as an estimated ten thousand people came out to enjoy an afternoon of food and live music.
Over 20 restaurants participated in this year's event bringing with them a wide range of dining options for those in attendance to enjoy. In addition to serving the food, the restaurants were also judged with the following winning this year's awards:
- Best Overall: Perk and Brew
- Best Presentation: Overtime Pizzeria
- Best Sweet Treat: Cape Creamery
To fill out the afternoon, music soared through the air beginning with LCEC's Killa-Watts and concluding with the Gulf Coast Symphony's ninth Cape Coral sunset concert.
As a special treat, this year, the symphony was joined by the nationally renowned Air Force's Singing Sergeants to provide a closing concert of patriotic favorites.
