Below are five events taking place across Cape Coral this weekend.


Cape Coral Bike Night (Saturday)

Bike Night is an event that Cape Coral has been hosting for years attracting thousands of motorcycles and nearly 20,000 of your closest friends, all for a night of fun in Cape Coral's Entertainment District.

Free concerts, food, and beer along with the good vibes of your local bikers make for a great night to be had by all. Whether you're a hardcore biker or not, you'll have a blast.

Music scheduled for this edition of Bike Night includes; Backlash, Bite the Bullet, Mike Imbasciani & his Bluez Rockerz, ZZ's Best, and the return of Grayson Rogers.

Bike Night will take place this Saturday on SE 47th Terrace between Coronado Pkwy. and SE 8th Ct. beginning at 5:00pm. Admission is free to the event. There is a $5 cover charge for the Grayson Rogers concert inside Dixie Roadhouse.

Grateful Dead Night at Rack'em Spirits & Times (Friday)

The Grateful Dead experience is coming to Cape Coral.

One of the Southeast's most popular Grateful Dead inspired bands, Unlimited Devotion, will bring their show to Rack'em Spirits & Times this Friday, February 11. Unlimited Devotion

Since their inception Unlimited Devotion has developed a devoted fan following with a comprehensive repertoire that includes many Grateful Dead staples as well classics now and then from the various artists such as Bob Dylan, Pink Floyd, Phish, Cream, Jefferson Airplane and others. 

Unlimited Devotion does not try to emulate the Grateful Dead, but use their songbook to allow them to express themselves through improvisation that includes strong jazz and funk influences. Grateful Dead influences from the late 60's and early 70's are very evident in their live performances.

Unlimited Devotion is scheduled to take the stage at 8:00pm. Rack'em Spirits & Times is located at 1011 SE 47th Terrace. Admission is free. For more information, click here.


Run for the Rose Garden 5K Run 2017 (Saturday)

The Rotary Club of Cape Coral will host its fifth annual Run for the Rose Garden 5K this Saturday at Cape Coral Rotary Park, located at 5505 Rose Garden Road.

Participants of the 5K race will make their way through one of the Cape’s most treasured preserves, Rotary Park.

The course will take runners on a scenic tour of acres of preserved salt marsh land, and home to a host of native animal species throughout the 97-acre park, making it one of the most serene 5K races in Southwest Florida.

Registration opens at 6:30am. The race begins promptly at 7:30am.  Awards will be given in a range of age categories immediately following the race.

The registration fee for this year's race on or before February 9, 2016, is $25 per person, and day of the race is $30 per person. To register online, click here.

Money raised from the 5K will help support such programs as the Cape Coral Rotary Park, The Cape Coral Caring Center, Special Pops, local scholarships, and other community projects.

The Styles "Heart & Soul" Valentines Buffet Dinner Dance (Saturday)

The Styles "Heart & Soul" Valentines Buffet Dinner Dance at Terrace Hall is back by popular demand this Saturday, February 11.

Enjoy an authentic tribute to the legends of Doo Wop and Motown by one of Southwest Florida's most dynamic entertainers.

The evening also includes an all Inclusive buffet prepared by Chef Michael, with appetizers, entrees, sides, salads, rolls and butter, beverages, dessert, and four hours unlimited wine and beer.

Doors open at 6:00pm for seating. The buffet starts at 6:30pm, and the music begins at 7:30pm. Terrace Hall is located at 1313 SE 47th Terrace.


Nature of Cape Coral Bus Tour (Saturday)

This Saturday, the Cape Coral Friends of Wildlife will host its monthly Nature of Cape Coral Bus Tour.

Join a knowledgeable guide on this unique bus tour to see the real nature of Cape Coral.

Possible sightings include; burrowing owls, manatees, osprey, eagles, scrub jays, hawks and a variety of shore & songbirds. Bring a camera and binoculars.

Cost is $15 per person. Limited seats are available; advance registration and payment are required. The tour is open to all ages.

The tour takes place from 8:00am to 12:00pm beginning and ending at Rotary Park, located at 5505 Rose Garden Rd.
